Rent Just The Grounds Or Celebrate Under A Tent

Our permanent 60x90 (5400 sf) white, high pole tent is sited over a two-tiered, stained cement floor, easily large enough to seat 200 or more guests w/ a dancefloor. The tent has detachable cathedral window sidewalls, offering inclement weather protection for your event, fans or heaters add comfort to your event if the weather dictates. Made from blockout fabric, the tent’s material decreases outdoor temperatures by 15%; center poles are 23’ high. Spotlights on dimmers, and many 12-22” white Chinese paper lanterns loop over the dancefloor to provide ample light. A 200-amp box, and electrical plugs line the tent’s perimeter – power will never be an issue.

Exterior beds are landscaped, tent poles are planted with jasmine and ivy; surrounding grass shaded by mature pecan and oak trees offers extra seating space. Walkways connect your guests to Pape Gardens’ major features including a double gazebo which is popular for weddings. Rentals include white "wedding" chairs, a variety of tables, white floor-length linens, a PA system, glassware & decorative items along with numerous other amenities (download Wedding/Reception Rentals; a 4 page inventory list & site plan is provided at appointment).

Earle-Harrison House & Pape Gardens is a perfect backdrop for portraits. The home's handhewn columns and veranda offer old Southern charm to bridal or engagement photography. A dressing room with full-length mirrors allows you to dress on-site. Photos may be taken in Earle-Harrison House and on the grounds.
